Arsenal Football Club has been sporting a new kit during warm-ups this season that looks very familiar… 🧐
In January 2022 we launched the Arsenal x adidas x TfL product collection.
Celebrating the upcoming 90th anniversary of Arsenal station’s name change – the only Tube station to be renamed after a football club! 👌
An exclusive line of sportswear created by adidas was released to mark the occasion. Using the Piccadilly line moquette and Arsenal station roundel, the collection marked the history and connection between one of London’s most loved football clubs and the iconic TfL brand. A limited-edition Oyster card was also designed and produced for adidas Creators Club members to win, all loaded with enough credit to get them to their next match in London!
The campaign launch was particularly exciting too, featuring some very familiar faces.
Working with the TfL Film Office, models sporting the TfL collection and wearing life-like masks of some of the Arsenal players faces, were photographed in both an exclusive area and Arsenal station. Emile Smith-Rowe and other players were also photographed wearing their new warm up kit with pride. A big moment for fans… and TfL in particular! 🤩
With the line now completely sold out, the reaction from fans (and even from rivals) has been outstanding, showing a lot of love and taking some great pictures.

TfL and Arsenal have a long-standing relationship and the Tube station, originally named Gillespie Road, was renamed after the football club in October 1932.
